The timeless Logan-Forrester feud is heating up on The Bold and the Beautiful, with Ridge again stuck in the middle. This time, his daughter and stepdaughter are the ones locking horns. Yet, something’s not right, why? Let’s face it, Steffy’s mom, Taylor, is MIA, while Hope has her mom, Brooke’s full support. So, we reckon this storyline could definitely introduce a major player. Will the CBS soap do something about it?

The Bold and the Beautiful: Could Taylor Be Back Soon? 

We at Soap Opera Daily had recently reported the news that B&B has set out a casting call that hints at possible addition of a leading lady to the soap. Rumor has it that B&B is looking for an actress aged forty-five and fifty to play a new character. Her name is “Sabrina,” and she is described as a “strong, sophisticated leading lady.” This new character promises to bring sophistication and strength, exactly what Steffy needs on her side. While “Sabrina” could just be a placeholder name, it totally sounds like they’re describing Taylor.

In addition, viewers of the American soap really liked Krista Allen’s portrayal of Taylor. They were caught off guard when the showrunner reduced Taylor to a recurring role. And get this, they did go back to Krista, offering her a minor part in a single episode after months of absence. However, Allen stood tall and turned down the part. After her departure, Allen moved to Atlanta, calling it the right decision for her.

Furthermore, the former B&B actress is hopeful that someone new will take on the role of Taylor. She believes her character has always been important to the show’s storyline and her fanbase. “Taylor is needed. There’s a big fanbase that wants to see her be there for her kids.” Allen continued that the loyal fanbase eagerly awaited Taylor’s return after original portrayer Hunter Tylo departed. So, the B&B luminary hopes the show finds a way to continue her story!

Currently, it looks like Taylor might return unless we’re misinterpreting the hints. Here’s hoping Taylor is finally over Ridge, but there’s still a lot of story to explore with this beloved character. Who knows, her comeback could reignite the family rivalry in new and thrilling ways!
