Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
A Home and Away fan-favourite character is going to be left fighting for their life next week, as Lacey Miller continues to try and get justice for her mother’s death. This week’s episodes have seen her learn that Councillor Craig Wendell might be responsible, and she’s become determined to take him down.
In scenes set to air next week, Lacey and sister Jo Langham are told by their police officer dad David that his investigations have all turned up dead ends, but the girls are adamant.
They become even more so when they go through their mother’s commemorative book and see Wendell’s signature there.
David tells the duo that it’s highly unlikely to be Wendell, but they are adamant. He admits that he’s been told to stop investigating Wendell specifically, and gets Lacey to confess that she not only snuck into his office, but called the councillor up to threaten him.

While he’s absolutely furious and tells them to let him handle things on his own, Lacey goes and calls Wendell again.
She tells him that she’s discovered a witness — Jo hazily remembers a man in a suit after her latest hypnotherapy session, but not the face — and they need to meet in a few hours’ time.
Lacey goes to Cash Newman and Eden Fowler’s wedding to rope Theo Poulos into her plan. While he thinks it’s a terrible idea, he goes along with her as he doesn’t want her to be alone.

The two go to the meeting point, where Lacey tells Theo that she is going to pretend that she is the witness herself. Theo’s nervous, but she picks up a bouquet and says she’s never nervous with him around. If he asked her the big question right there and then, she’d say yes without hesitation.
Wendell finally turns up, and Lacey confronts him with her ‘evidence’, telling him that he needs to go to the police and confess. He gets emotional and agrees to her terms, and it looks like the sisters might finally get justice.
However, Wendell that gets in his car and speeds towards Lacey… when Theo jumps in the way and pushes her to safety.
He’s left lying unconscious on the floor, but could he really be dead?
