Neighbours welcomes back a string of familiar faces next month as the iconic Aussie soap airs its final ever episodes. The story of Ramsay Street is (very sadly) almost over, as the finale will air on Thursday 11 December.
Of course, show bosses aren’t letting the occasion pass by without a celebration – and there’ll be plenty of returning characters in the mix. This time, the focus is on Erinsborough residents who’ve played a key role in the Amazon era, along with some other wildcards.
Aaron Brennan and his boyfriend Rhett Norman pay a welcome visit back to Ramsay Street, just three months after leaving to start a new life together.
Paul Robinson’s grandson Jimmy Williams is back too, with Darcy Tadich reprising the role after five years away.

Nell Rebecchi, Ned Willis and Roxy Canning are also in the mix. With the final week featuring a romantic ceremony for Paul Robinson and Terese Willis, it’s the perfect time for many of these characters to be back on our screens.
That’s not all, though. Nicolette Stone is set to be reunited with her ex-partner Kiri Durant and brother Byron. Is she about to get her happy ending?
Other returnees on the way include Haz Devkar and Mackenzie Hargreaves, who left for a new life in France after the first year of the Amazon revival run.
Melanie Pearson is also coming back to town – we’re sure there’ll be one last chance to hear that legendary laugh…

Levi – last seen in the Channel 5 finale in 2022 – will also be joining Roxy to represent the Canning clan, while Lucas Fitzgerald can also be spotted in spoiler pictures.
While some characters are back to help celebrate Paul and Terese, others are returning for far more serious matters. Show bosses have now officially confirmed that Ramsay Street will come under threat due to plans for a huge new freeway. This would mean everyone moving out and the familiar houses being demolished.
In the coming days, Sam Kratz and Annalise Hartman find themselves at the centre of the storm amid their links to the project.
Looking further ahead, spoiler pictures show Shane Ramsay back in town, seemingly offering the residents an alternative place to live. But in a move set to reignite the old Ramsay and Robinson feud, Paul has his own alternative site in mind…

Neighbours filmed its final scenes in July following Amazon’s decision not to renew the soap on another long-term deal.
The show has been a success on Prime Video, regularly appearing on the service’s list of most-watched shows in the UK as new episodes drop four times a week.
