The highly anticipated Coronation Street and Emmerdale crossover special—titled Corriedale—is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about events in soap history. Emmerdale actor Michael Parr, who plays the often dangerous and always compelling Ross Barton, took to social media after filming his Corriedale scene—and dropped a cryptic but thrilling comment about what fans can expect.
The actor is paired with Corrie legend Kate Ford, aka Tracy Barlow, in one of four scenes up for public vote. After soap expert Sharon Marshall posted the confirmed pairings, Michael responded:
“So gutted to miss you. All I can say is that the scene between Ross and Tracy is mouth-watering!!!”
The comment sent fans and press alike into a frenzy. Sharon added fuel to the fire on X (formerly Twitter), writing:
