Casualty has released a trailer for its Christmas special, teasing danger for Iain Dean as he helps the hospital deal with an emergency blood shortage.

Titled ‘All I Want for Christmas’, the format-breaking special will see the A&E staff led by Stevie Nash (Elinor Lawless) saving lives on Christmas Day, while paramedic Iain risks his own to ensure the hospital have enough blood.

In the clip (which you can watch at the top of the article), Iain is driving an ambulance, presumably to get blood donations to Holby City Hospital. In a dramatic turn, he appears to lose control of the vehicle on the snowy roads, with the vehicle then flipping onto its roof.
