17 Emmerdale pictures for next week see Moira fight back against villain

Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) clocks onto Ray Walters’ (Joe Absolom) genuine feelings for Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) next week in Emmerdale, and starts to panic.

Ray has had love interests in the past, but Celia has never taken them seriously as they usually end up leaving. This time though, things are different.

Celia has become aware that Ray is spending an awful lot of time with Laurel, and cannot help but wonder how it will impact her operation at the farm.

She decides to take action and heads to Mulberry Cottage for lunch with the duo…which isn’t awkward at all.

An Emmerdale comp that features Rhona, Ray, Laurel, Moira and Ruby

When Ray is out of the room, Celia fills Laurel’s head with comments about her son being a total player. Once Ray learns of what his mum has done, he is devasted.

Elsewhere in this storyline, Celia faces a very angry Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), who makes a discovery about their partnership.

The two characters have been working as business partners for a while, but Moira is also under the impression she is good friends with Celia. This latest revelation and betrayal is going to hurt, but will it prompt Moira to grow suspicious about what Celia is up to?

In the pub, Moira unleashes her anger and slaps Celia, and the woman does a very good job at playing the victim to make Moira look bad.

Also, as her due date nears ever closer, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) tries to come up with an excuse so she doesn’t have to attend the gender reveal party.

She also suggests to Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) that the baby she’s carrying might not be Sarah Sugden’s (Katie Hill).

Vanessa is notorious for being bad at keeping secrets – has Charity just made a massive mistake?
