Emmerdale spoilers follow from Thursday’s episode (11 December), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale villain Ray Walters unleashes another nasty surprise tonight – as he callously demands even more money from Marlon Dingle and Rhona Goskirk. Struggling Marlon and Rhona are still reeling after handing £20,000 over to Ray and receiving nothing in return, but it seems that he isn’t finished exploiting their misery yet.
Marlon and Rhona’s world was turned upside-down last week as they discovered that their teenage daughter April Windsor has been forced into selling drugs for Ray and Celia Daniels. Since then, they’ve tried everything they can to put a stop to it – but it’s been no use.
In tonight’s episode, the tormented couple still hope for Ray’s mercy as they invite him back over to their place for a chat.
Marlon and Rhona remind Ray that they coughed up £20,000 and had hoped that would be the end of it, but he ups the ante by suggesting a more regular payment plan…

“If you think that I’m going to give April up just because you gave me 20 grand, then you two are very naïve,” Ray explains.
“She is my best girl. I’m telling you, she is the best drugs runner I have had in a long time. Your little girl has got what it takes – she is so innocent-looking that nobody in their right mind is gonna suspect her of dealing.”
Finally sharing an alternative, he adds: “Two grand a week, starting tomorrow. That’s what she brings in. Like I said, she’s very good…”

It’s not long before April discovers the conversation and has her own say over what the future should hold.
Can Marlon and Rhona find a way to come up with even more cash? Or will April’s ordeal continue for a while longer? All will be revealed when the episode airs tonight at 8pm on ITV1, or it’s streaming early now on ITVX and YouTube.
