Emmerdale has threatened a tragic exit for Dylan Penders in Friday’s early ITVX episode, with the character still in the clutches of the villainous Celia Daniels and Ray Walters. With the duo hoping their criminal operation still runs smoothly, what will they do?

Dylan, along with his girlfriend April Windsor, has found himself in a dangerous situation after working with Celia and Ray, both of whom have used the teenagers to run drugs in the local area.

Things eventually took a turn after Dylan spotted Bear Wolf working at the local farm in a gruelling manual labour operation, with Dylan encouraging April to speak to her family about her plight.

Celia and Ray eventually caught wind of this, and the latter took action into his own hands as he hit Dylan with a car in a bid to silence him. The teen has been recovering in hospital ever since, though the villains have kept a firm eye on him.

Friday’s (12 December) instalment of the ITV soap, which is streaming now on YouTube and ITVX, began with Ray lying to Laurel about the hit-and-run involving Dylan, with Marlon and Rhona telling Paddy that April was keeping an eye on him at the hospital.

Rhona later bumped into Celia at the pub, with the villain seeming unfazed as Rhona threatened to tell everybody about her criminal activities. With Celia seemingly unflappable, Rhona began to worry even more.

Feeling as though the situation was getting out of hand, Rhona offered to work for Celia herself in place of April, though Celia questioned if she had the temperament for it. Celia then mentioned Dylan, and implied that they would look to get to him

Rhona remarked that the reckoning was coming for both Celia and Ray, reasoning that Dylan would tell the police about his experience when he wakes up. Celia attempted to play it cool, likening Rhona to a mouse.

Rhona and Marlon got some good news as Paddy told them that Dylan would soon be brought out of his coma, though she rushed to tell Marlon that Celia and Ray were looking to get to Dylan…
