On this episode of The Young and the Restless (Monday, December 15, 2025), a night meant for celebration quickly turned into a disaster when Victor struck his latest vicious blow against Jack and Jabot. As Sally stood beaming on stage for the launch of Abbott Communications, guests’ phones began buzzing with news of a public relations catastrophe for Jack’s family company. A jealous Phyllis arrived at the party, only to be confronted by the sight of Cane and Lily laughing together and enjoying each other’s company.

Sally rushes around, making last-minute touches for the launch party. She’s dressed in a lovely fifties-style dress, hair done to the nines.
Billy is calm, cool, and collected. He kisses her and props her up, telling her she’s going to be the newest star of the media world.

Michael tells Victor that Jabot’s assets were moved somewhere, and the company seems to be on life support.
Victor thinks Jack is preparing for the AI attack. It reeks of desperation, and Jabot will probably never recover. He’s going to use Jack’s defensive moves against him!
Michael asks how Victor will strike against Jack if he can’t attack Jabot.
Victor says he doesn’t give a damn about Jabot. He’s going to take Jack down for good. He picks up his phone and makes a call.

Crimson Lights
Cane and Phyllis kiss each other passionately, until Cane suddenly stops. He tells Phyllis that they could have been friends, but now she’s his enemy; she played him, lied to him, and screwed him over. He shakes his head and leaves the cafe.
Phyllis leaves the patio and heads inside, where she runs into Daniel and Tessa. She says that she was just leaving… She has some place to be.
Daniel smirks. More like she’s hunting someone down!
Phyllis says she’s going to the Abbott Communications launch party… They should come with her!
Daniel tells her she shouldn’t crash the party.
Phyllis laughs. She was invited to the party!
Daniel doesn’t believe her. He reminds his mom that the last time she finagled her way an invitation to a soiree she had no business being at, someone died.
Phyllis laughs and says nobody will die this time. She wants him to come with her as a plus-one.
Daniel thinks she’s just going to the party to cause problems, but he decides to go with her to make sure she behaves. He’s not going alone, though… He needs a wing-person! He asks Tessa if she’ll come with them.
Phyllis doesn’t think it’s a good idea for Tessa to come along. She’s only got a plus-one invite, not a plus-two!
Daniel grins. He’s got his own invite with a plus-one. He thinks Tessa would have a good time.
Tessa says she doesn’t have any fifties outfit, but she knows the costume is optional. She agrees to come.
Phyllis isn’t too happy, but she swallows her pride and smiles.

The GCAC Dining Room
Cane shows up and meets Lily at the bar.
Lily looks him up and down and says he’s not dressed in fifties garb. He should go over to Fenmore’s!
Cane agrees. He leaves, bumping into Devon and Abby as he’s on his way out.
Devon and Abby wonder why Cane told Lily he’d be back.
Nate wanders over and asks if Cane is accompanying her to the launch party.
Abby and Devon aren’t happy about it. They hope she’s not reconciling with her ex!
Lily says it’s not a date, and it’s not a big deal! He’s the father of her children, after all.
Victoria walks over, dressed in a poodle skirt.
Lily gives Nate a pointed look. “So I see Victoria is your date!”
Victoria grins and says it’s hardly a date… She thought it’d be less awkward if she showed up alone. She supports Billy as the father of her children.
Nate says he and Victor came to an understanding over Thanksgiving, and it’s nice to rekindle a friendship with someone who means so much to him. He smiles at Victoria.
Devon hopes it’s a friendly gathering for everyone tonight.
Cane makes his way back. He hopes his look is retro enough. He asks Victoria if Victor will be coming to the party. He’s looking forward to congratulating him at beating him at his own game!
Victoria laughs and says her dad won’t be there.
Adam and Chelsea arrive. Adam’s phone rings, it’s Victor, who tells him that he needs to come back to the ranch immediately and have Chelsea represent Newman Media at the launch party. Victor stresses the urgency of Adam returning to the ranch. Adam ends the call and tells Chelsea that he has to get back to the ranch. They kiss, and he leaves the dining room, where he runs into Kyle, Diane, and Jack.
Kyle asks Adam if the competition is scaring him away.
Adam says the business world doesn’t stop for a party. There are always wars to wage! He leaves the club.
Diane thinks Adam is scrambling to cover the launch of a rival media company.
Jack hopes that’s all there is to it.
The Jazz Lounge
Sally asks Billy why Phyllis is on the guest list. She’s worried that Phyllis will cause drama.
Billy says he felt bad for Phyllis, and he wanted to rub her face in the massive success that Abbott Communications will be. He reassures her that all eyes will be on her.
Sally wants Billy to promise that they’re in this together… He needs to be open and honest. Communication is vital!
Billy says he believes in her and will support her completely.
Sally knows they can deal with any obstacle that tries to stop their success. They head upstairs and invite everyone down to start the party.
Billy and Sally come back down, and the photographer catches photos of everyone entering.
The party is in full swing, and Jack and Diane congratulate Sally and Billy before leaving to mingle.
Cane and Lily walk down, and Billy asks what Cane is doing there.
Lily says Cane is her guest; is there a problem with that?
Billy says he does have a problem with that. Cane screwed up their last launch. He’d appreciate it if Cane just left.
Cane apologizes for it. He wishes them the best.
Sally says that Abbott Communications came out victorious, so he should just stay. She walks away with Billy and tells him that it won’t impact their launch. If anything, Cane will just “marinate in envy” about how well their launch went off!
Diane can’t believe that Cane is there… It looks like he’s Lily’s date!
Devon doesn’t understand why Lily is wasting her time with Cane.
Abby thinks Cane is working hard to prove himself to Lily.
Devon promises he won’t let Cane hurt Lily again.
Abby says that no matter how he feels about it, Cane and Lily will always be linked by their children.
Lily tells Cane not to look now, but Jack and Diane are giving them the evil eye. He looks, and she laughs. “Don’t look!”
Cane hopes Lily is seeing that he’s changing.
Lily says that penny loafers and white socks aren’t a sign of change. How is the change going?
Cane says it’s not easy, but it’s easier with Lily around.
Phyllis, Daniel, and Tessa walk down into the lounge. Phyllis tells them that she knew the party would be fun. She glares over at Cane and Lily laughing at the bar before she heads down and walks by them.
Lily smiles at Phyllis. “Good evening.”
Phyllis smirks. “I didn’t notice.” She walks over to the other end of the bar and stares them down.
Tessa admires Lily’s fascinator before heading over to join Daniel and Phyllis.
Lily grimaces. “That was awkward.” She says Cane wasn’t lying when he said things were over between him and Phyllis.
Cane agrees. Things are very much over.
Kyle wanders over and asks Victoria why Claire isn’t at the party.
Victoria says Claire is with Katie right now.
Billy makes an announcement and officially welcomes everyone to the launch of Abbott Communications. He says there’s a new player in the media world now and he introduces “the driving force behind Abbott Communications.” He introduces Sally.
Sally smiles as she stands up and makes a speech. She’s excited to launch the company. Tonight, they’re making their dreams a reality!
The crowd applauds.
Newman Ranch
Adam arrives at the house and asks what Victor called him there for.
Michael tells him that Jabot has closed down, and they can’t attack it with the AI.
Victor nods. And he’s going to use Jack’s defensive moves against him!
Michael and Adam try to convince Victor that he doesn’t need to attack Jack anymore… Jabot will have problems coming back from the shutdown; the world will think that the company is incredibly unstable after this move!
Victor says they need to exploit that. Public perception is everything! He wants Adam to air a hit piece with the news of Jabot’s shutdown while Jack is at the launch party for Abbott Communications. What could be more fitting?
Michael advises him he should take some time and think it through. Once the news hits social media, it’ll spread like wildfire!
Victor says that’s the point. He wants Jack’s reputation destroyed! This is the type of hesitation and squeamishness that made him part ways with Michael before. Victor slams his hand on the table. It’s happening no matter what Michael says! He asks Adam for an update.
Adam finishes his call. “It’s a go.”
The Jazz Lounge
Sally continues her speech. People’s phones start pinging with notifications, and people look around as their phones buzz.
Jack looks at his phone. “What the hell?”
People are starting to be concerned, and Sally finishes her speech. She sees Billy looking at his phone and asks what’s happened.
Billy says it’s nothing… It has nothing to do with Abbott Communications!
Victoria asks Chelsea if she knew this was coming… She runs Newman Media with Adam!
Chelsea says she was left out of the loop. She would never have approved this attack on Jabot, suggesting that it’s shutting down!
Victoria nods. This is definitely her father’s work!
Nate, Abby, and Devon discuss the breaking news.
Devon figures that Victor is behind it.
Phyllis approaches Jack and asks what’s happening with Jabot… Is it going down?
Jack curses under his breath.
Newman Ranch
Victor proposes a toast with Michael and Adam. “To Jack Abbott, the architect of his own downfall!”
