Emmerdale spoilers follow from Thursday’s episode (18 December), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale is giving fans fresh hope that Cain Dingle could get involved in bringing down the show’s biggest villains. The bad boy has Celia Daniels and Ray Walters in his sights tonight after his wife Moira makes a very worrying discovery.
Fans can expect a huge showdown this evening after Moira learns that Celia has been forging her signature on bogus paperwork.
When Moira goes snooping around Celia’s farmhouse while nobody else is around, she finds that her signature is on fraudulent invoices relating to thousands of turkeys. In reality, Moira’s business partnership with Celia is on a much smaller scale.
It’s clear that Celia is implicating her so-called friend in money laundering scams, so Moira fiercely demands answers over what’s going on.

The tensions play out publicly at The Woolpack and Celia shows just how manipulative she can be, as she pretends to be the injured party in front of the other punters.
Knowing exactly which buttons to press, sly Celia makes a quiet comment about how Moira may be confused due to her brain tumour returning. Moira responds by slapping her, which draws condemnation from shocked onlookers.
Later, Moira confides in Cain about the mess that she’s now in thanks to Celia. Going to the police seems out of the question, as she could find herself in a whole world of trouble if she draws attention to the situation.
When Cain points out that Celia’s son Ray is also a dodgy character, he suggests that it’s time for decisive action…
