It wasn’t that Finn wasn’t rattled by the tragic death of his daughter, but considering she had supposedly died before her unscheduled reappearance, it was, perhaps, a fate he had already reconciled himself to… especially given her long list of crimes, which included kidnapping and terrorizing his wife.

Indeed, no longer having to protect his wife and kids from the threat of Luna appears to have lifted a hefty weight off of Finn’s shoulders. As an added bonus, his psychopathic mother has been on best behavior and even risked her life to save Steffy’s. For Finn, this has brought a rare window of peace and well-being he hasn’t experienced since Sheila showed up on his wedding day and dropped the bomb that she was his Birth Mother™.

The lack of stress shows. Finn has been the picture of shirtless happiness since Luna perished, spending his days surfing, hot-tubbing and making out with his sexy CEO spouse. But as we mentioned, this sweet serenity has an expiry date. How do we know?

Simply put, being a “happy couple” is the kiss of death on a soap… it’s simply not allowed. What we’ve been witnessing with “Sinn” is the calm before the coming storm. As well-versed as we are in soap signaling, we’ve been at the point of getting chills down our spines watching their unfettered bliss in recent episodes. What could possibly go wrong? We’ll tell ya’…

For one thing, Sheila’s clearly set to go psycho again. Being left out of Deacon’s daughter’s wedding has left her on the verge of, dare we say it, crazy again. Unfortunately for Finn and Steffy, her mother, Taylor, who has formed a connection with Sheila’s husband, is bound to become the madwoman’s main target as she becomes increasingly unhinged, sending the family into terrified chaos yet again.

There’s also something off-kilter about that summer camp teacher, Miss Dylan, who could easily be written into a Steffy stalker or even turn out to be Luna herself. Stranger things have happened… and on this very soap!

Steffy’s brother Thomas is set to return this week, which we already know will cause her stress given Hope will balk at working with him on her line and push to keep her brother, Deke, on as designer. If Hope and Deke defect to Katie’s new fashion house, losing Hope For the Future could cause issues for the co-CEO at work. Although, given she cut it not long ago, one would think not. Either way, Thomas tends to be an agent of chaos, so it’s only a matter of time before Steffy has a big brother-sized headache.
