Emmerdale spoilers follow from Monday’s episode (24 November), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale airs an unexpected showdown between Kev Townsend and Nicola King tonight, as tensions rise over Lewis Barton. Can meddling Nicola convince Kev to keep quiet about his connection to Lewis, or is the truth destined to come out?
Trouble brews in Monday’s episode as Kev continues to bond with Lewis, now aware that the café co-owner is seemingly his long-lost son. But as Nicola watches on, she can’t help fearing the worst over where this could lead…
Kev discovered the truth about Lewis last week, when the likeable lad spoke openly about his late mum Emma Barton being pushed from a viaduct. Realising that Emma was his ex-lover, Kev was quick to solve the mystery over his secret child.
Now feeling curious over his son, Kev finds excuses to hang around the café in this evening’s episode. Friendly as ever, Lewis is warm and welcoming towards Kev – blissfully unaware that the ex-convict has an agenda

When Nicola turns up and spots the unlikely pair chatting yet again, she feels compelled to interfere. She suddenly sends Lewis home for the day – making excuses about how he’s just back from sick leave – then tries to cover for her bossy behaviour in front of Kev.
Kev, who doesn’t believe a word of it, bluntly replies: “It’s got nothing to do with the fact that you know he’s my son, then, no?”
Although Nicola is put on the spot, she’s determined to hold her own as she clashes with Kev – wanting him to stay away from Lewis for everyone’s sake.
Will Kev scare off Nicola, like he has with so many others in the village? Or has he met his match this time?

Fans can see how the drama plays out in full when the episode airs at 7.30pm on ITV1 tonight, or it’s streaming early now on ITVX and YouTube.
Writing on Instagram recently, Bradley Riches – who plays Lewis – addressed the fan frenzy over his recent scenes with Kev.
He teased: “Lewis and Kev just having a moment… while you guys are creating theories and drawing family trees in the group chat.
“What happens next? Who knows… Will everything be what it seems?”
