Emmerdale spoilers follow from Wednesday’s episode (19 November), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1. The following article contains discussion of sexual misconduct.
Emmerdale’s April Windsor is haunted by her recent ordeal tonight, as she suffers a terrifying flashback to what happened with evil Callum. But with Ray Walters watching her closely, she could be facing further danger.
April currently believes that she’s responsible for a man’s death, after lashing out at vile predator Callum in self-defence last month. However, viewers know that Callum is alive and well – with Ray slyly keeping quiet about his true fate as a way to exert further control over April.
In tonight’s episode, Ray corners April at the local shop and returns to his old tricks by warning that she’ll have to work overtime following her recent arrest for drug possession in Newcastle.
Manipulative Ray argues that he and his mum Celia Daniels have spent considerable time and effort clearing up April’s messes, which will require repayment.

Understandably, this is easier said than done for April after months of turmoil. When Dylan accidentally smashes a glass at The Hide, April has a flashback to the moment where Callum tried to force himself on her and she hit him over the head with a bottle.
With April visibly horrified amid the café chaos, she rushes off. Ray watches on and fears that she’s spiralling out of control – not a good sign since she’s already on her last chance with Celia…

“You’ve got to keep it together,” Ray snarls when he confronts April later on. “If you keep pranging out left, right and centre, things are going to go pear-shaped pretty quick.”
When April then suggests it’s too difficult keeping Dylan in the dark about Callum, Ray warns: “Well, you better get comfy with it, because if you breathe a word about Callum it’ll be the last word you say.”
Will April take notice of Ray’s sinister threats?
