Emmerdale’s Michael Parr has teased what to expect with his Corriedale crossover scene.
Last week, soap guru Sharon Marshall confirmed on ITV’s This Morning that filming was about to take place with four stars from Emmerdale, and four from Coronation Street.
The famous faces were gearing up to film scenes that are in with a chance of featuring in Corriedale, a one-off crossover instalment that’s airing at the start of January.
Bosses will soon give fans the chance to decide which duo they’d like to see in the episode via a vote.
Featuring in Sharon’s This Morning segment were Emmerdale’s Emma Atkins, James Hooton and Nicola Wheeler, and a particularly large picture of Michael Parr, who wasn’t able to appear in the interview.
Emma revealed that she’ll be filming a scene with Alison King, who plays Corrie’s Carla Connor, James confirmed he’ll be filming alongside Andy Whyment (Kirk Sutherland), while Nicola Wheeler revealed she’ll be sharing scenes with David Neilson, who plays café owner Roy Cropper.
The group confirmed on Mike’s behalf that he will be working with Kate Ford in the crossover filming, who portrays Tracy Barlow.
Following the development, Sharon took to her Instagram to share some behind the scenes pics of her and the Emmerdale favourites on set.
In the comments, Mike shared that he was ‘gutted’ to have missed the segment, and also teased what to expect in the scene between Ross and Tracy.
‘All I can say is that the scene between Ross and Tracy is mouth watering!!!’, he wrote.
Sounds intriguing. Both Tracy and Ross are single right now – could we be about to see a steamy romance form between these two characters?

It was confirmed at the start of this month that Vicky Myers and Danny Miller will definitely feature in the crossover, as DS Lisa Swain and Aaron Dingle.
An excited Coronation Street spokesperson told us: ‘What leads Lisa and Aaron to find their lives intertwined on a dark and foreboding night in January?
‘And which other Coronation Street and Emmerdale favourites will feature in the action packed and climactic episode?
‘While the exact plot is being kept under wraps, what we can confirm is a one off one hour spectacular, featuring explosive scenes, nail biting drama and never before seen interactions between some of the nation’s most loved soap characters.’
Iain MacLeod, ITV’s Executive Producer for Continuing Drama, teased the game-changing episode and said: ‘It’s beyond exciting that filming is under way on Corriedale. There is a massive buzz around both the Leeds and Manchester sites and the images coming out of the shoot are utterly spectacular.
‘And that’s before we’ve even got to all the brilliant transpennine interactions between characters from the different shows!
