Bear Wolf was finally discovered by a familiar face on Emmerdale as his months-long torment seemingly had a ray of light at the end of the tunnel. As the beloved figure was spotted, will he be able to make a much-needed escape?
Bear left the area earlier this year following a falling-out with his son Paddy, and it was eventually revealed that he had been subjected to gruelling manual labour by Celia Daniels and Ray Walters.
Despite defending Ray throughout his subjugation, Bear has gradually cottoned to the gravity of his situation, with the death of close friend Anya being a turning point in his journey as he recognised Celia’s true villainy.
He still found himself a slave, however, with Tuesday’s (2 December) episode of the ITV soap beginning as Celia talked about her devious plan for April Windsor and Dylan Penders. Paddy, meanwhile, was reflecting on the missing status of his father.
Bear tentatively asked Ray if he could have his phone back, though the villain manipulated the situation as he lied by saying that nobody had attempted to contact Bear regarding his whereabouts.

As Dylan and April celebrated his birthday, Celia wrecked the mood as she insisted that they both help her on a job. The role wasn’t particularly appetising, however, with Celia saying the teen was in charge of “consequences” for workers who didn’t tow the line.
A tied-up Robbie fell into that category after Celia suspected him of informing the police of the criminal operation, with the villain giving Dylan a chance – via a baseball bat – to enact some punishment.
He refused the offer, but Celia banked on this and said that his thoughtfulness would make him “management material” in her operation. Despite his nervousness, Dylan tentatively agreed to give it a shot.

As he headed into the barn to check on the wounded Robbie, Dylan got a shock as a beleaguered Bear – going by the name of Ted – walked in. He uttered his name in surprise, but we’ll have to wait to see how it pans out.
With Bear now potentially having an ally in his storyline, will Dylan be able to get him out of Celia and Ray’s clutches, or will the villainous duo put a stop to Dylan’s efforts before they’ve even begun?
