“Very Sad😭News Ridge & Eric’s Emotional Reunion B&B Preview (Dec. 1-5) – Dylan’s Heartfelt Breakdown

The Bold and the Beautiful preview for December 1–5 sets the stage for one of the most emotionally charged weeks the show has delivered in months. Tension at Forrester Creations spikes again as Ridge and Eric slip back into old patterns of conflict, while across town Dylan’s guilt erupts into a heartbreaking confession that reshapes the entire Luna storyline.

The week opens quietly—or at least it appears that way. But under the surface, everything is on the verge of cracking. Ridge has been wrestling with a difficult truth for days, and as Monday begins, he knows he can’t put off a conversation with his father any longer. Striding around the executive office, Ridge tries to rehearse what he’s about to say. He doesn’t want another battle, yet he also knows any talk about leadership or transitions with Eric has a way of lighting a fuse neither of them can contain.

On the opposite end of Forrester Creations, Eric starts the morning with his own sense of frustration. He believed his last health scare—and Ridge’s emotional response to it—would have softened the long-standing tension between them. He thought perhaps they’d finally begun to understand each other. But now, standing alone with his schedule in hand, Eric notices Ridge has booked a private meeting and instantly realizes what’s coming. Another conversation about retiring. Another suggestion that he step back. Another reminder that time is moving, with or without him.

When father and son finally face each other, things unravel fast. What begins as a civil, careful exchange soon cracks open into a flood of old resentments. Ridge insists Eric is blocking progress. Eric counters that Ridge is overreaching. Their voices rise, the wounds of years past resurfacing as both push harder than they intend. The creative soul of Forrester Creations hangs between them like a fragile object neither wants to drop, yet both tightly clutch.

While the Forester men clash, a far darker story is unfolding miles away in Malibu. Electra brings Dylan to Finn and Steffy’s place, hoping he will finally confront the truth he’s been carrying like a stone on his chest. Dylan’s usually polished demeanor is gone—his clothes wrinkled, his face pale, his breathing uneven. It’s clear he hasn’t slept properly, haunted by the incident with Luna and the chain reaction it caused.

The moment Finn asks him what’s wrong, Dylan’s restraint shatters. Tears come before words. And then the confession spills out—he was the driver who struck Luna. The one responsible for the tragedy that took her life. Finn stares at him in disbelief, unable to reconcile the quiet art teacher with such a devastating truth. Steffy’s hand flies to her mouth. Electra tries to steady Dylan, but his remorse pours out so fast it overwhelms everyone in the room. It is a raw, unfiltered collapse of a man suffocating under guilt.

Meanwhile, back at Forrester, Katie learns that the company hired a PR firm without involving her. Bill bluntly tells her she should walk away from FC altogether and join him at Spencer Publications instead. He insists she deserves more respect—and more independence—than she’s getting under Ridge and Brooke’s leadership.

By midweek, Finn crosses paths with Electra again and immediately senses her unease. He asks if Dylan is okay, but Electra hesitates, torn between protecting someone fragile and telling Finn what he deserves to know. Ultimately, she keeps Dylan’s unraveling to herself, leaving Finn deeply unsettled.

As the week comes to a close, Brooke stumbles upon another explosive argument between Ridge and Eric. She tries to mediate, reminding them of how close they came to losing each other, but neither man is ready to yield. Ridge storms out, frustrated and heartsick. Eric, exhausted, sinks into his chair, staring at the sketches around him—the legacy he’s fighting to preserve.

The final scene is somber. Ridge, alone in the dim design room, sits with his head bowed in a silence that feels heavy and haunted. The storm between him and his father has grown louder, Dylan’s confession has fractured multiple lives, and the holiday peace everyone hoped for slips further out of reach.
