 What’s Been Happening in Casualty?

Before the break, Casualty’s latest storyline, ‘Supply and Demand,’ has been ramping up the tension. The ED in Holby is under immense pressure due to a rise in drug overdoses, and the personal struggles of the staff are hitting hard.

This week’s episode (June 28) saw Ngozi battling her alcoholism, which led her to make a heartbreaking mistake with a patient. After a difficult shift, she finally reached out for help from Dylan, leading to an emotional moment when they confided in Siobhan about Ngozi’s struggles. The episode ended with a ray of hope as Ngozi found the courage to attend an AA meeting.

Meanwhile, Iain and Teddy took part in an intense assessment day with HART (Hazardous Area Response Team), but Iain’s emotional turmoil after learning his alcoholic mother had been admitted to a hospice caused him to fail the final test. However, in true Casualty fashion, he managed to persuade team leader Tim to give him another chance—leaving fans on the edge of their seats!
