We, like just about every other viewer of The Bold and the Beautiful, have been more than a little mystified by the reveal that Miss Dylan is the one who ran down Luna. There doesn’t seem to be any logical reason why she just popped up out of nowhere to confess to Electra that she accidentally killed Luna.
She just had a small role over the summer (which you can catch yourself up on here), so there has to be some secret reason why the show would bring her back to kill Luna. We’ve been scratching our heads as to what that reason would be all Thanksgiving. And finally, we hit on an idea!

What if she’s an obsessed Steffy super-fan? She got to know everything about the rich, famous, beautiful and talented fashion designer. The Forresters are, after all, celebrities of the fashion world. And it’s not a stretch for someone to become obsessed.
Dylan could have gotten a job as Hayes’ art teacher to start getting in good with Steffy and working her way into her idol’s life. Then Luna happened. She tied up Dylan, threatened Steffy and derailed everything. Luna was eventually thrown into jail, while Dylan was left to find out everything she could about this sociopath and how she fit into Steffy’s life.
One thing would have been clear: Steffy wanted Luna gone. For good. That would certainly make Steffy happy — if only Dylan could figure out how to do the deed. Then, suddenly, Luna escaped from jail. Alerts were sent out. Folks were looking for her… And she fell right into Dylan’s lap.
Maybe Dylan didn’t plan for it, but the hit and run may not have been an accident. She saw Luna, ran her down, and planned a way to let everyone know that she had gotten rid of the murderer forever. But telling people she ran over someone in cold blood, no matter how psychotic Luna may have been would have gotten her in trouble.

So she’s gone out of her way to fake being torn up over it, confessing the “accident” to Electra and knowing that it’ll get back to Steffy. She’ll be grateful and Dylan won’t come off as a total psychopath. Maybe the two can even become best gal pals after the bonding experience!
Of course, if Dylan was willing to murder to get close to Steffy, we’re more than a little worried about what else she might be capable of. Steffy, in other words, may have just ended up jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire!
