On today’s Young and the Restless (Tuesday, December 2, 2025), Phyllis and Cane clash over loyalty and ambition, while Jack and Diane brace for the fallout of shutting down Jabot. Nate and Victoria grow closer despite Audra’s meddling, and Victor reveals sudden travel plans.
The GCAC Dining Room
Phyllis tells Cane not to mess with her… He’s obviously on Lily’s side!
Cane disagrees and lets her know that he visited Victor and decided to sell Arabesque to him for pennies on the dollar.
Phyllis imagines that couldn’t have been easy.
Cane says he lost his way as his empire expanded. He knows he was sick with greed and blinded by power.
Phyllis thinks that he amassed a fortune, so it couldn’t have been that bad!
Cane thinks he’ll be a better man if Arabesque ends. He has enough personal assets to live on comfortably. He needs to start from scratch and reinvent himself. His future is with Phyllis. He wants to merge their talents and create something incredible… Which means she doesn’t need Jabot!
Phyllis feigns ignorance. Why would he bring up Jabot?
Cane knows that she stole his AI software and gave it to Victor in exchange for Jabot.
Phyllis can’t believe that he still thinks she stole the AI.
Cane says she keeps telling him to be honest and let go of his baggage, but it’s time they were finished with this cat-and-mouse game. He wants the truth.
Phyllis tries to change the conversation to Lily, but Cane won’t have any of it.
Cane says he understands why Phyllis stole the software. She’s a master at computers, and she was able to blow through his defenses on his software.
Phyllis says she is a master, but she didn’t use her computer mastery to steal his software.
Cane says there’s one flaw in her plan… She trusted Victor Newman; he’ll take what he wants from her and will freeze her out!
Phyllis says Cane is prone to conspiracy theories. She gets up, saying she’ll leave if he keeps this up.
Cane yells for her to sit down and says he’s going to get frustrated if she keeps denying it. He wants to build something with her!
Phyllis wonders what would happen if she hypothetically confessed to something she hadn’t done.
Cane figures she has two choices; she can work with Victor, or work with Cane… And which one is going to betray her? He says they’ve played their games and had fun, but if he can’t trust her now, where will they go from here? He’ll prove his loyalty to her by not punishing her for her bad behavior, but he needs her to take a leap and let him know that she’s loyal to this new venture so they can build their professional future together.
Phyllis says she can’t trust him. She believes he wants to change, but why does he want to change with her? What about Lily? Where does she fit into all this?
Cane says he’s made up his mind to get over Lily. He destroyed Lily’s trust, and there’s no way they could have a future together. He needs to move on from Lily and Dumas. He only wants to look forward, and needs something positive in his life… And he knows Phyllis needs that too, but it needs to be honest. She needs to come clean about his AI software, though; he thinks using his AI software to get ahold of Jabot is wrong and immoral… It’s the tactics he would have used as Dumas. Fate has given him an opportunity to a new future, and he’s offering her the same chance… Is she in?
Phyllis is interested in success, but she needs a platform to highlight her stardom. Can he be a partner that fulfills that for her?
Cane tells her to admit that she stole his software and gave it to Victor to use it against him.
Phyllis takes a deep breath. He wins. She’ll tell him the truth!

The Abbott Mansion
Jack and Diane talk about his plan to shut down Jabot’s servers to keep Victor out with his stolen AI. At least they’ll be in control!
Diane agrees. They don’t have any other choice!
Jack says he’ll bring the accounting team and IT department up to speed on securing their assets. They’ll have to come up with a story about why Jabot is temporarily halting business!
Diane figures if it works, it’ll stop Victor, but Jabot will be destabilized and might not recover! Jack could lose his father’s legacy; is he willing to take that chance?
Jack thinks it’s their only choice. This is an attack on their business, and they have to make the right choice.
Diane agrees. While Jack is playing defense, she’s going to play offense! She’ll find a way to prove that Victor is using the stolen AI, and he should be held liable in a court of law!
Jack likes the way she thinks. He figures they should head to Society for a drink. Once they set things in motion, there’ll be no turning back!

Society
Billy runs into Audra and Sally at the restaurant. He tells Audra that he’s sorry about her having to leave Abbott Communications.
Audra thanks him and says she has somewhere to be. She leaves the restaurant.
Billy winces. He thinks Audra doesn’t like him. For now, they have to focus on their company. Are they still on for the launch?
Sally nods. They’re on!
Billy kisses her and they talk about Jack shutting down Jabot to save it from Victor. He can’t wait to see Abbott Communications up and running!
Sally says she’s happy that he’s stepped up lately, with his sobriety. She loves the new, improved Billy! She offers to take him home and show him how he doesn’t bore her at all!
Victor walks in and smiles at them. He hopes they’re having a wonderful Thanksgiving and asks about Abbott Communications’ launch party… He hopes nobody will pull the rug out from under them!
Billy says the only ones taking a fall will be Newman Enterprises.
Victor laughs and wishes them a good day. He wanders off to sit at the bar, and Billy and Sally leave.
A few minutes later, Jack and Diane walk in. They see Victor there, and Diane thinks they might want to go somewhere else, but Jack doesn’t care. He walks over to Victor and says hello.
Victor smiles. “If it isn’t Jack and Diane!”
Jack says he’s heard that Victor is using his “newly acquired” AI to attack Cane and Arabesque… He’s surprised Victor didn’t use it against Jabot first!
Diane wonders if Victor knows that his activities are illegal and could result in jail time.
Victor laughs at their “baseless” accusations. He holds up his glass in a toast and says that Cane must be reeling from being attacked. Sometimes people get knocked on their ass when they aren’t expecting it!

Crimson Lights
Victoria runs into Nate in the cafe while she grabs a cup of tea. She asks if he’d like to stay and talk with her.
Nate laughs. He has no other place he’d rather be right now than with her! They sit down and talk.
Audra walks in and says hello to them both. She wishes them Happy Thanksgiving, and makes a point to say that it’s nice to see Nate can be friends with at least one of his exes!
Nate asks how things are at Abbott Communications… The launch is happening soon?
Victoria is interested, too… Where does Audra fit into the corporate hierarchy?
Audra says she’s there to support Sally; she’s in the best place she’s been in a long time!
Nate nods. Good to hear! He wishes Audra a good day, saying that he was in the middle of talking with Victoria.
Audra smiles and wishes them a good day. She gets a coffee and stands there, listening to Nate and Victoria as she prepares it.
Victoria gets a message from her father to meet him at Society right away. She excuses herself and leaves.
Audra comes back and asks Nate if he’s dating Victoria.
Nate tells her it’s not her business. She gave up the right to know about his personal life when she lied to him over and over. She lied about Nice and Vibrante time and again!
Audra can see he won’t forgive her, even though she’s told him she’s sorry… It’s obvious he’s moving on with Victoria.
Nate says his relationship with Victoria isn’t any of her business. She needs to stop prying! He loved what he had with Audra, but it’s too late. Even if he could find a way to accept her apology, he wouldn’t be able to trust her again. He leaves the cafe.
Society
Victoria enters the restaurant and sees Jack and Diane sitting there. She smiles and says hello, hoping they had a lovely Thanksgiving. She says she’s late for a meeting with her father and excuses herself. She meets her father at the bar.
Victor tells her that he’s leaving for Los Angeles. She’ll be running Newman by herself while he’s out.
Victoria asks what’s happening in LA. She knows he’s been holding back on what’s been happening with Sharon, Nick, and Noah. He wouldn’t be leaving town if it wasn’t serious… Should she be going with him?
Victor says someone needs to run the company since he and Nick are gone. He has to go to LA to support Nick and Noah, and he won’t tell her anymore. Does she trust him?
Victoria sighs and agrees that she trusts her father.
Diane is happy Jack is confident about things, but hopes he didn’t goad Victor into moving too quickly against Jabot.
Jack says he’s not scared of Victor. They have the upper hand!
