The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe) recently responded to some criticism regarding his character on social media. Deacon and Sheila Sharpe’s (Kimberlin Brown) pairing is no doubt a controversial one, but Kanan offered his opinion on the duo and ultimately clapped back when a fan disagreed.

The trouble started when Kanan weighed in on a post asking people whether they loved Sheila and Deacon together.

Kanan quoted that post on X, formerly known as Twitter, so let’s look at what he had to say.

“Kind of funny that these two actually have one of the healthiest relationship on @BandB_CBS #BoldandBeautiful #Sheacon,” Kanan said.

That brought many supportive replies from viewers who indeed love Sheila and Deacon as a couple.

Some X users insisted they were a solid, refreshing surprise, but others couldn’t get past all Sheila’s crimes and other misdeeds over the years.

One fan argued that Deacon’s pairing with Sheila was insulting instead and made it clear that it wasn’t a good look for Deacon to be with her.

Sean Kanan felt the need to respond to that comment, so he defended his job as an actor.

“My job is to give 100% to whatever storyline I’m fortunate enough to play,” Kanan explained.

That led to a clarification from the fan, who wasn’t blaming Deacon for what the writers had chosen for him.

It was just a matter of them wanting a different storyline and pairing than Deacon’s been given.

However, it’s easy to see that Kanan enjoys Deacon and Sheila as a couple based on that earlier comment on their healthy relationship.

Kimberlin Brown and Sean Kanan seem to have a blast working together, so that probably plays a part in their support of Sheila and Deacon as a married duo.

As for what’s next for Deacon and Sheila, you can bet a whole lot of drama’s coming due to Sheila’s knowledge of Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) crush on John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
